Just a Leaf
A young leaf shuffles softly in the breeze
Looking down at her grounding roots
She often dreams of sprouting near other branches below

Appearing from afar
Some are quite delightful
While others a tad creepy

Although she had wished to be a branch
That grows up towards the sky
She enjoys being a leaf
Casting a small shadow on the branch below
